Slywalker, Ambien doesn't work for me at all. I had to be switched to a different sleep medication.

Back from early dentist appointment and found out it's the last day for my dentist  >:( :rant;   I need to go for a blood test, but want to rest/sleep

If we can override the pain, the sleep will be no problem.   Need to have xrays but I would rather pretend I don't need them. I have put them off for three days now.  Tomorrow?  Well, maybe.

I am so glad it is spring. Everything is popping up or blooming and it really does make things better to see new life starting up again.   Hostas are my favorite to watch - they grow so fast and I love all the different varieties.

Hope everyone has a marvelous day!!   :2thumbsup;

I'm back for a bit. Long day of waiting at 2 doctors and then pharmacy for new meds. I was going to eat something, but rather would rest. Also found out from surgeon I can't stay at a hotel across the street from the hospital if I can't get a ride home. I have to have someone with me after surgery. I'm thinking quit being lazy and do paperwork to have me admitted for one day. Not everyone has people they can rely on for help. :rant;

Monrein, thanks for posting the hosta thread.   :2thumbsup;   I love mine and try to add new varieties each year.  They are such forgiving plants--they just keep looking beautiful even if I neglect them.  We have so much shade in our yard, so I have lots of hostas!

Chris, wish I was in Chicago---I would be there for you.   :cuddle;

Slept part of the day away and the other part at a kick off party for the Aids Walk and Ride event.  Of course, the Kidney Walk came up in conversation and someone looked at me and said "do you need a kidney?"  I'll give you one!  Several of us had a great conversation about living donors and I think some people learned things they didn't know before.   Michael is AB blood type and a 300 pound flaming Drag Queen, but I loved him for just wanting to help me.   He wants me to show up at Drag Bingo dressed like Paris Hilton carrying a chihuahua!!!   :rofl;    :rofl;

Seriously?? You all let me win for 24 hours?  Where is everyone?   Helllllooooooooo---anyone out there?

Fun night at Drag Bingo. Raised over $9,000 and the entire amount goes for client services (meds, doctors, etc).      Can't decide if the new med is making things better or just making me loopy and sleepy all the time. Good thing is, I am sleeping all night for the first time in several years.    Tomorrow is Palm Sunday and 2 of the grands will be at church with us. Then we will be off to another grands birthday party at the ice rink.  I will be ready for a nap by then, but I don't think that will happen.    Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday and finds a moment of quiet and calm during your day.     :cuddle;

Chris, I wish you had a better suport system, I hate that you're not getting more help. When will your surgery be?

Okay I need a poem with my class rules in it.

My name needs to be in it, too, Mrs. Soto

Respect each other
Respect property
Keep hand, feet and objects to yourself.
And yes, in Math you have to show your work.

Poems, Probability, and Math seems to go hand in hand with some word problems.

Karol the surgery is so far scheduled for April 20, time not set yet. I have to call back Monday to let them know I am still having problems with transportation home. Getting there I can do on my own and I'm pretty sure I can get home on my own to. Just hop on the bus next to the hospital (depending on time also) or take a taxi and take a train close to home and then drive home for 30 to 40 minutes. It use to be easy to do things on your own, well fake calling someone and then walking out to take a taxi to the train after being sedated for a procedure years ago. I should just ask to be the last one scheduled so I can be admitted for the night and then go home.

Paris, hope your feeling well today.

Thanks, Chris for the kind thought.  It has been quite a weekend.  Good things, emotional things and stressful things.  My mind is so wound up, I can't sleep.   Again! Surprise!   But there is nothing planned for tomorrow, so maybe I can rest, ease some of the pains and clear my mind of stress.

Keep us up to date about your surgury, Chris.

Kit,  Poetry and Probability sound like the sequel to Pride and Prejudice.     :rofl;

Good morning! Youngest son and daughter went back to school after spring break. I am going to go pick up my car (which stalled and died on Sunday and had to be towed.) Need some flowers and tomato plants and hopefully will work in the garden today. Its cloudy and cool today and supposed to rain tomorrow. I really just want to go back to bed and sleep. Making some tea. How is your morning?

My morning is starting off very slow.  I have been researching what places in town give aquatic theapy, etc.  Think I will check one pool out today. There is a class specifically for arthritis, fibro, etc -- heated water, low impact.  Sounds good.  At least I will check on the prices and availability to see if I can do it.

Okarol, hope you car is ok and it is nothing major. Although will cars, it always seems to be something major!  I need to look for tomato plants too.

OK, how is everone elses day going?
