Christmas Day is almost over.  Every present is open, every tummy is stuffed and every heart is full of love, joy and wonder.   I am sitting by the tree reflecting on all the goodness in my life.   There are some things I wish were different, but, don't we all?  So for now, I am blessed and grateful.   Merry Christmas to IHD and the wonderful people who reach out to each other every day.   :cuddle;

We had lunch at Mom's after opening presents. The best present of the day was from my daughter Maria.  She had a photo collage of pictures made for us.  She had done one a year ago. I am to replace the old one with the new one in the picture frame she put it in last year. It has pictures from my trip to Milwaukee, her pics, the pet pics, and pics of Victor and I. I love it.  Best pressie ever. We opened it when we got home.  We both loved it immediately.  I opened a great Secret Santa box.  Wonderful array of gifts.  I also got to open a beautiful Thomas Kinkade lighthouse. It looks like the lighthouse is in a cut out egg.  Gorgeous.

It was a good Christmas overall.

12:30.  Just got home.  After dropping my 2 youngest off at their mom's at noon my oldest and I went to a friend of mines for dinner.  After a delicious prime rib and relaxing he took 13 of us to see the new Avatar in 3D movie.  It started at 9:30 and is a 3 hour movie.  We had a great Christmas

Morning, morning!

Marc, Carl wants to see Avatar. How was it?

We are going to the Eric Carle Museum today. I bet there are two little girls who will have a great time! Not to mention the many adults going!

Tomorrow is my sad day... the trip home.

 :'(

But today is a day for enjoying EVERY minute.

I already have a dislike Avatar because it's over hyped. Any movie that has that much hype into it just makes me not want to see it. Ys I might be odd  :urcrazy;  :rofl; :rofl;

OK, going to start in on my Secret Santa Chocolate goodies  :2thumbsup;

Carl is still set on seeing it, Chris.

I'll be heading home to TN tomorrow. So someone else is going to have to win for a while.

I always shed a tear or two (or more) when we leave. Have to say that it was a really wonderful visit.

Willow hugged me for a long time before heading to bed and said, "Grandmom, I don't want you to leave tomorrow."

Yeah, tell me about it.

Chris, you'll get your snow sometime. When you least want it!  :rofl; :rofl;

Dan behave yourself while I"m on the road. I'll send you a card when I get home.

Kitkatz, a proper Thank You will be heading your way, too.

I'll be back on Monday.

I WIN!!!

I am glad I saw it.  It wasn't great but it was not bad.  Very predictable but the 3D was cool.

I wasn't ignoring you Dan though, My Back Up screen popped up with an error message. Some reason I'm having a problem in Windows 7 even after it tells me what the file problem is and I try to correct it.

Well, we made it back to Tennessee in near record time... listening to an audio book for most of the 15 hour trip!

Listening to the book caused one wrong turn near Scranton, though.  :rofl;

No traffic backups going our way, but a couple of bad ones for north bound traffic!

Will sleep wlll tonight.

Chris, there was plento of snow in Massachusetts and it even snowed a bit there TWICE while we were visiting!

Enough snow for me for a while.

What a year indeed! I can gladly say that we survived! Maybe not thrived....

By the way, I got that consulting job with Howard Taft University. We will be discussing my contract this week!

So, I'm hoping that 2010 will be a year of thriving!

We plan on seeing Avatar this afternoon.  :2thumbsup;
