I stayed up all night trying to solve a pc problem so I can have a dual boot of Vista and Windows 7. Apparently my problem is comon with Vista and their own software is useless. I have to create a partition and Windows will not allow me to do that. Will have to try 3rd party work around later. Other than that, getting all my stuf ready to bring to my doctors office in the city for Monday from lab results, guide dog forms, med listing, ect. I have to get up at 3 am to get ready because I am going in with my dad who drives to work in the city instead of driving in the dark to get the train.

Chris, I'm glad you're not driving in the dark and the rain!

So, here's the funny. We went into Knoxville early for our book club because we needed to pick up a few things for school at the craft store near the mall. then Carl says (20 minutes before the book club is supposed to start), "I want to run in the Apple store at the mall." OMG, in holiday crowds??

Believe it or not he was back in the car in 10 minutes with a new wireless keyboard. He has wanted one for a long time to use during dialysis.

When we got home tonight he set it up to try it out. My comment.....

"That thing in your lap is tiny!"  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

His reply, "But it's good for 30 feet!"   :clap; :clap;

Gotta laugh. Makes life a lot more interesting!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Morning,

I am dog tired!!!! and for once I am very happy to be at work..... (to have some peace)

My daughter jumped from a plane at 11000 ft. Now I was like a mother chicken raising a duck. I was running and clacking just like a chicken does when her chick falls into the water. All went well! (thank goodness)

And My sister -in law is visiting!!!! she is not the nicests  person on earth... I had to bite my toung so many times , I think I might have to see the doc when she goes, just to make sure my toung is ok. :banghead;

I walked alot this weekend so it feels like my feet and legs are jelly this morning.... AM I GLAD TO BE AT WORK TODAY.... to rest  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

Des, it must have been grim for you to be glad to be at work.

 :rofl; :rofl;

I'm a bit stressed about trying to find yet another person to work as support staff. Sigh.

But the rest of the staff are great and pulling together to help.

Not so grim but... she is a very difficult person to get along with. It is just so draining.

She is flying back to Cape Town on Thursday. Yeah for Thursday.! Then it is another year or two before I have to go through this again.

We have our gigantic tree almost decorated. My three year old wanted to help this year, so there have been quite a few ornament casualties already. I love the way little kids find that one spot on the tree and then try to hang a dozen ornaments there.

Sorry to hear about the staffing and crown troubles, Aleta. :( I hope things fall into place for you. Oh, Des, just hang on until Thursday. You can make it!  :cheer:

I'm off to clean up after the tree decorating. This will take a while....  :waving;

Hey, Kathy,
Come with me to Massachusetts next week! They have snow on the grownd which isn't melting!  :clap;

And it is supposed to get down to 8 degrees on Thursday night.  :o

I'm so glad I have a new full length down coat to wear up there! Brrrrr!

I saw in another thread that you aren't feeling too great. Hang in there. Once you get that dry weight figured out and/or go home where you can make you own determination about how much to take off, you should start to feel better. AND it might be your hemoglobin, too.

I'm hoping it all settles down for you soon.
