Off to my old companies Christmas party.  They invited me even though I have not worked there since my kidneys failed at the end of March.

No doggies :(.  It was great fun, great food and even better company.  It was at a restaurant called the Yardhouse.  We closed down the place.  Last ones to leave when they kicked us out at 2am.

Checking in for the day. Got  haircut, mailed 15 Christmas Cards and one part of my packet for the guide dog (next two will be video and medical information packet). I attempted Christmas shoping, but couldn't find what was on my  mom's list at the stores I went to. Stopped at Petsmart and checked out some of the dogs there people brought in for Santa Photos.. Came home, cleaned the kitchen and then fell asleep for almost 4 hours.

Morning IHD - cold chilly day here and we finally got an inch or so of snow last night.  Everything is bright and shiny outside.  It actually hurts the eyes - need to find those sunglasses.

Have a great Sunday.   :santahat;

Home from church.  John Force (NHRA) has his offices here in town and has a car show today.  Jay Leno is going to be there.  I want to go but think I am going to catch up on my housework instead.  Tough choice.

We came home from Best Buy with a new tv. The deals were just too good and I have been wanting a new tv for the for the "kids room" so they can watch their shows when they spend the night or the grown ups want to watch their shows.  My husband says it is our Christmas present to each other.  What is he going to think when he opens the 20" flatscreen monitor that I already bought for him?  Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!     :santahat;

Chris, he brought his 1955 Buick Roadmaster.  I didn't go.  John Force has a number of shows there throughout the summer that I have been to.

Morning IHD - winter snuck in here during the weekend so that isn't good for me and my doggies walking.  This morning's walk was mighty icy and a little slow going.  Rats.  At any rate it is Monday and the beat goes on and on and on.......
(oh, and I'm winning for this moment in time).... :bandance;

Yes Chris you need to.  One thing about southern California compared to the snow states is that there are a lot more older cars in great condition because they did not rust out during the winters.  No snow or salt to eat the wheel wells and under carriages.
