I am pretty sure you can watch it at a later date.  I have watched many which were done in the past.   The last one on self cannulaion was good. At least for me as I have not started D yet.    I usually like what Peter writes.  He has alot of good info.    Did you win yet!

I was celebrating that my neighbors was forced to get rid of his chickens.  He has around 50, raised them in the lower part of his split level home.  These were all male fighting chickens.   We all hated them cause of the noise and they would always fly into our yard and leave poop everywhere.  All the neighbores had to petition thru the zoneing commision to get rid of them.   Finally after 3 years and alot of writing letters and complaints the police came last Sunday to have them removed.    It's way to quiet now. Only sea gulls.    How sad is that!! :bandance;

That's good news Tyefly

Des, I'm, well um weird! Can't sleep lying down or head becomes bothered then can't breath through nose and mouth becomes dry which takes forever tobecome normal again. Medication for infection is supose to be taken during the day, but I should be taking it at night since I don't have problems unless lying down. So pet is keeping me company and begging for water out of the bottle.  :urcrazy; He actually drinks out of a water bottle and have video.

Chris, thought you were leaving chat a lot early.  Still awake?

Tyefly, that is so wild and a big funny except I doubt the chickens thought it was funny.  Isn't that against the law anyway?  lol

Morning Des... who wants to go to dialysis with them thit morning.

Good thing their is a big pavilion!  :clap; :clap;

Won't be able to stay too long because we'll have to get back for dialysis Sunday night. Last year we had Sundays off. Oh well.

Good morning.  Slept in this morning.   Dreaming way too much last night,   Again another morning without roosters crowing.

Yes I like chickens but the resedential zoning didn't allow them.  Oh what a shame!  I really love eating chicken!

We live in a area that has many vacation homes and well we only want seagulls.  We keep telling the crow to leave but that's another story.

What's past is prologue

« Reply #19824 on: September 18, 2009, 08:32:23 AM »

Hello everyone.  I have been outside all day working in the yard trying to get some work done before I start D next week.     Thought I would drop in and see what the accepted topic is tonight.

Crap!
There's a topic?
What did I miss?

Chris, I believe Kathy is hinting vigorously toward me. I apologize to the bystanders for what is going to come next:

Kathy, I prefer direct address if someone is going to criticize me. Reread my post. All I asked was that if you are going to start wildly speculating about this administration's motives toward seniors, that you follow the standard protocol and post links so we can see where you are getting your information. Just because you heard something on the news does not mean you cannot perform a search and educate yourself further before posting. You inferred the rest, "agreeing" with me that this topic does not belong here.

I posted a link. In there, it clearly says that seniors will get the shot after the prioritized people receive it. Seniors who spend a great deal of time around prioritized groups can also get it early. Everyone in my household can be prioritized based on my transplant status alone. What you call rationing is better described as triage. Would you go to an ER with a broken arm and demand to be seen before the gunshot victims bleeding uncontrollably?

This has happened with the standard flu shot before, under Bush, jr. I believe it was 2004 when there was a worldwide shortage. I had to get a note from my doctor saying that my entire household needs the shot, take it down to the health dept. and we all received the shot.

I happen to come here to reduce my stress at facing a transplant in a month or so and coming to terms with the (unlikely but existent) possibility that my two kids, 7 and 3, will soon be orphans, losing both of their parents. If you have questions about which topics go where, I would suggest contacting a moderator.
