Des, What did you do?

Hi,
We had good weather after a cold week.
 I helped my daughter with her art project and we did NOT fight... I think she is starting to grow up.

I fiddled in the garden (pots)

Me and hubby "invented" a new pasta dish together.(that was so much fun) Don't ask the recipe , we just threw in stuff. It was delicious.

Sounds very nice! Saturday I went with my oldest son to campus and bought all his books because tomorrow (I guess later today) he starts his first day of college! Sunday morning my youngest son's Pop Warner football team had picture day. (I help manage the team so I am in the picture with him).  It was a nice weekend for me as well.

I love hanging with the kids.  Sunday my daughter wore the first dress she ever made to church.  It came out awesome, really great!  I had to stop by a couple of friends and show her handy work off. The couple of families were very impressed.

It is a big day for you.  Is it good or bad to have college so close?  Just wondering how your oldest views that.

Busy helping Beth with wedding photos.  She has a meeting with a bride this afternoon.  It would be great if she booked this wedding. Crossing fingers for her.

He was also accepted to San Francisco State but chose to go close by.  Cal State Fullerton (where he goes) is a very good college.  I think he chose Cal State Fullerton because I got sick.  We had a long talk about it and I tried to make sure he was making his choice for the right reasons.  I am a very lucky dad as all 3 of my kids are very good, loving caring kids.

    Yes    I too am very lucky.....   My daughter    SARA      is attending  Washington State University  and works part time....  She is going to be my partner when I train in the nxstage system and when my husband in out on the road..... I feel lucky that she volunteered to help mom.....  She just turn 24  and is pretty responsible for her age..... she even wants to give me a kidney......  I wont accept a kidney from her  as she is too young and hasn't even started life yet.....       It has been fun to watch them grow up...

Congratulations to all the college students headed back.  A new adventure for a new school year.  I am also incredibly blessed with two kids who have completed their school and are productive and  balanced kids (well kids?  one is 34 and one is 27).  Life is pretty good in my neck of the woods.

Paris - good luck to Beth.  Did she get the job?

Have a great evening.

To bad I didn't miss the doc though, but she did give me a couple chocolate chip cookies and chocolate on the way out. Also got a Rasberry Mocha Latte at the gas station while getting hopefully a winning lottto ticket for $247 million. Daddy needs new tires  :2thumbsup; :rofl; :rofl; Also would like a new Camaro, Saturn Sky/Pontiac Solstice, Ferraris new 2+2 coupe, and so on and so on along with a secured garage to keep my car collection  :thumbup; :yahoo; :2thumbsup; :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;
