Good Afternoon IHD - back from Maine visiting with my daughter (Jenn) and my kidney donor (Stacey).  Weather finally cooperated in the northeast - must be because I'm on vacation.

Where is David?  I went back a few posts and he seems to be MIA.  I hope he is okay!!!

It has warmed up today - 80 degrees already - but rain is coming back tomorrow (so they say).  Back to vacation couch.

don't watch  Bruno.... it will make all Sexual Desires posters blush.  My tech just saw a scene over my shoulder and ran away.

Dan, never saw it, didn't seem interesting to me like his other movie Borat. When it comes on TBS or something and nothing else on, then I'll turn it on for background noise.

I doubt, Chris, that it will ever be on TBS  -- but don't waste money on it anyway.  I could only watch about 20 minutes of it.

I heard Barbara Walters review Bruno and she said 10 feet naked body parts was a little much for her   :rofl;   It is rated R, so I guess you know there will be lots of skin and off color humor.   Was it as least funny?

But what does Barbara consider 10 feet of nudity compared to younger people? Bikinis weren't allowed to be shown when she was a reporter back then  :rofl;

Chris, think back to the chat room conversation and the 10" idea -- that is what she said was 10 feet on the screen.   :rofl;    Do I need to explain further?   :rofl;   :rofl;

Getting the heck out of town.

« Reply #19039 on: August 18, 2009, 08:26:19 AM »

OK, Chris.  My reputation is already ruineed so I'll explain it.  This is the scene my nurse saw over my shoulder.

Full screen:  male torso from just above waist to just below waist.  For several minutes.  Picture strippers twirling their tassels (no reference to our Twirl).  Imaging a fairly well endowed male twirling what he has to twirl for several minutes.  Don't know if Waters was referring to a large screen or ...

I wish  David was here to get us out of this  conversation.  He'd say "back on top"

 ???   (for David)  I win.

Saying "back on top" after your post, Dan, would probably be a little to risque for David.  :)

So, I'll just say - I win.

Still won't waste my time to rent the movie.
Had a bad day today involving truck breaking down far away from home twice in the same spot and 5hours of waiting in the heat to finally being able to go home. 1st call due to tire suddenly going flat as I entered the on ramp to the highway, wait was only and hour. Tried to start vehicle as the person drove away and it wouldn't. Called the roadside assistance program I have again after trying to diagnose the problem and they call the same company out again to my vehicle and they never came after2 hours. Roadside Assistance program calls the  company they called to come out on why they didn't come and they say they thought it was the same problem. WTH you get all the information for the reason for a call, how could this be the same call with a different problem.  They then ask me if they want them to come out or send another company and have my vehicle towed closer to my house (nearest Ford dealer). I said call the other place. Automated system calls and tells me that they will be there in 55 minutes. Another few minutes pass and the tow truck driver calls and tells me they are on the way and were they are at, so they were going to be there shortly and way before the 55 minute time. All this time I was starting to feel sick from the heat and drank both bottles of Pepsi I carry (hot and nasty tasting!) and laying down in the back seat were it was somewhat cooler. Driver arrives and attempts a jump first and my vehicle starts, but now my gauges show I have to gas and odometer is not displaying right. Windows were not going down either for a bit. So off I go on the highway driving real slow to save gas and get to an exit to get a little gas. Shortly after getting off the highway to the nearest gas station, my fuel gauge is displaying correctly. Now I'm just hurrying home to get out of the heat and sun and take a shower. Thought about going to the ER or dehydration, but kept driving by. Got home, left vehicle running to charge the battery and took a cold shower. Shut vehicle off for 30 min while I cleaned the house up a little and went out to restart my truck. Luckily it did restart, but will try again tomorrow. I went to sleep after that, I had no energy.

And that was my crappy adventure for the day!

Nah, was nowhere near you. I was stuck on I 80 on ramp. First time I had to ever use my insurance road side assistance program and at least I wasn't paying for nothing after all these years  ;D To bad they wouldn't bring out and ice cold drink! Heck just a bag of ice to put on top of me! :2thumbsup;
