We are having a HOT weekend - 99 for a few days with heat index of 105-110.  Tomorrow we are helping move the last of Melissa's furniture out and my husband decided to have a big spaghetti dinner for everyone--15!  It is too hot for spaghetti.  Should be more like chicken salad, potato salad, etc.  I will be doing everything I can to keep the house cool.  That will be hard with open doors, pasta cooking.  Whew, makes me hot just thinking about it!!

Getting the heck out of town.

« Reply #18754 on: August 08, 2009, 07:58:21 AM »

Haven't said this in long time but I'm freezing.  Forgot to turn the AC up last night.  Was cold but couldn't wake up.

Spagetti sounds fine.  Get the thin kind.  Onlyl take a second to cook.  How about 16?  Would one more even be noticed?

Hope  you are all heading this way   :2thumbsup;   There is always room for friends at my table.   :cuddle;   Off to the grocery to get items for an antipasta tray.   Ice cream sound like a terrific idea, Aleta!   We all make a great team, don't we?
