No, but I am sure it is good.  Is it different from a pulled pork sandwich in another state?

Well, people from Memphis say it is.  Check out Down Home With the Neeleys on the Food Channel.

Memphis uses a dry rub that has their own seasoning I think. I haven't had one in a while. The place that has a good one down the street is expensive, but worth it due to taste.

 :Kit n Stik;

I started packing up my supplies for our camping trip and moving the machine to school for the remainder of July.

Oh! Oh! NxStage did not send any warmer bags and I don't have enough to get through next week!

BUT, a box of them will arrive tomorrow!  :clap;

While eating my apple for lunch today I dreamed of BBQ. Sigh.

Maybe I'll get one Friday when it's payday. Travel Channel or History Channel had a show on best pigout foods and one on sandwiches and burgers last week, one place puts a pound of bacon on one of their burgers. All the places shown looked real tasty, but nowhere near home. Want to try a smoked pastrami from one of the oldest deli's in America since they make it the old fashioned way.

A pound of bacon? Isn't that an instant cardiac arrest?

That reminds me of a hamburger recipe I heard about on NPR that used a glazed donut for the bun!

Not sure if it was the restaurant that had the waitresses dressed up as nurses and the place looked liked a medical center, but now that I am starting to remember parts, they were interviewing a lady who was eating one at a mom and pop type place. Should have seen all the various burger sizes one place has.

Howdy, all!!  All this talk about BBQ sure makes me want to light up the grill.  I did make BBQ ribs on Father's Day for my hubby - grilled them for 3 hours.  They were nummy!

Sorry, David - he gobbled them up.  He didn't even touch the roasted potatoes, watermelon, or grilled green beans.  He enjoyed the ribs so much, he didn't have room for anything else.  But, later, he did manage to enjoy the hot fudge brownie my daughter made for him.
