Hi all,

This is my first time writing. Well I'm 19 and been on dialysis for 8 years now.
I found this site through googlel. I can relate to many of the ?'s and find comfort in knowing that I'm not the only one and also many of the answers helpful. My stress level is down a few points now! ;D

I'll be back!!

Oh SpeedFlex,  You are going to be so happy here.  There are great people here (mostly all are dialysis patients) and we all have stories to tell, info to share.  So sit back, relax and think of any questions you might have and you will be amazed at the responses.  I am sorry to hear of your illness but i am so glad you found us.  Since i've found this website, life has been a whole lot better.  I get my questions answered here faster than i would at any clinic.  IT IS AWESOME... I look forward to hearing more from you and i am sure the rest of the members do to.  and once again,  WELCOME...

Couldn't have said it better  ;D -- Welcome and enjoy the benefit of hundreds of years of experience.

Think I'll post that as a question in a new thread -- how many years of experience do we have here total?

SpeedFlex, Welcome to our site.  You were too young to have this happen!  But, you will be a wealth of information to other young adults who are just now facing dialysis.  Come here to rant if you need to.  That usually lowers my BP.  Take care and come back.

Welcome to this site.  I am glad that you found us, and that we found you!!  So glad you said you would be back.  We are looking forward to hearing from you.
One thing though, we don't know your gender or your location.  Could you please check out General Discussion where we have a section with our site rules?  They are not meant to stifle, but to ensure that our site stands the test of time.  I am sure you will understand why we have them.
There is so much to see, read and do at this site.  You can chat with other members, play games, rant, rave, vent and cuss (using appropriate language, of course), ask questions, answer questions, tell us some good jokes, share your favourite websites (no XXX).
This is the place to be for a renal patient, and those connected to them.
Welcome again!
