Pyelonephritis (began at 8 mos old)
Home haemo 1980-1985 (self-cannulated with 15 gauge sharps)
Cadaveric transplant 1985
New upper-arm fistula April 2008
Uldall-Cook catheter inserted May 2008
Haemo-dialysis, self care unit June 2008
(2 1/2 hours X 5 weekly)
Self-cannulated, 15 gauge blunts, buttonholes.
Living donor transplant (sister-in law Kathy) Feb. 2009
First failed kidney transplant removed Apr.  2009
Second trx doing great so far...all lab values in normal ranges

people in Florida have hurricane parties.....we have tornado parties here  :beer1;

we've had quite a few in the past few years and I've spent a lot of time watching the live Doppler on local TV

ever had pepsi with bourbon
we also have had hurricane parties
hurrican Katrina was a nightmare
our whole town was a big traffic jam
I was pregant when Alicia struck
we had snakes in the pool (?)

That is too funny!

We are having rain and rain and rain and rain. Kids are fighting, they need sunshine and to get outside. I need a vodka mixed with vodka!

Been exceptionally hot and humid here.  Been well over 30 celcius (not sure of the conversion) almost everyday for the past week or so.  We have sweat A LOT working on the shed!!  Hubby has been able to drink and drink and still be below his dry weight!!!
