Fingers crossed Tamara!!!! Alan has been with you so long and now perhaps even longer still, and in such a personal way.. I hope you will invite us to the wedding :)

That's great to get your weight down like that and yep so close... I am sure you will be fine. No easter eggs for you - double whammy there with potassium AND well.. it's chocolate!!!

Hope things continue on well for you and you can get that transplant...

I'm working towards one myself hopefully in 5-6 weeks if all goes well with my sister... so I have some idea how you might be feeling!!!

Since things are happening i thought I would do another update.

Well today it was all happening.

Tests anyway. Allan and I had more blood tests for crossmatching, and antibodies, he had a scan to check the arteries coming off his kidneys, chest xray and ecg.

So have more blood tests in three weeks and Allan goes and sees the surgeon Woo Hoo it is all happening here, and I got my tshirt today I ordered from our store YEAH

and I'm down to 79kg YEAH its all happening ! I'M HAPPY CAN YOU TELL ?

Tamara, This is awesome news!

I think Alan and my sister will be in a race to see who can donate first (lol) - she's doing a couple of those tests today also and just has a few more to go, then the shrink and then hopefully icky hospital food for us both!!

So, fingers crossed for you & Alan!! Hoping it all goes well!
