I spoke with Boxman today and he is doing well in rehab. He said they have no Internet access at all but he will be there another 3-4 weeks yet. He sends his Love to everyone.

I visited Boxman today and he is looking great and seems to be in great spirits. Ohio Buckeye, Rolondo, and Victor, Boxman says you are his inspiration and that is what keeps his attitude and his spirit alive. Thanks to all those who have sent him encouraging messages. He is using a scooter chair to get around and is already scouting out the fish pond at the rehab center. I printed out all the messages since Boxman last posted and although he hasn't read them while I was there, he was happy that I did that for him. Thanks for the suggestion Bolta and Rose99.

No pictures this trip, but a very encouraging visit. I signed his cast, We Love You IHD

Thanks Sluff.    One of the best things about this site is that no matter what we are going through, someone else has been there and can walk beside us. Rolando and Victor helped Ohio Buckeye and now the three of them are an inspiration for Mark.  Some of the finest people I have ever known are right here at IHD :grouphug;

Boxman, I keep saying prayers.  You have such an incredible spirit and determination.  Proud to know you! :cuddle;

Paris don't forget how important your spirit is to many of us here at IHD. I could never say enough good about a lot of the members here and you are at the top of the list.  :)  You may even be above Beth.  ::) Love ya both.

So glad to hear how those wonderful IHD members have been an encouragement to Boxman.  So great to have news from him from someone who has actually seen him.  :thumbup; And Fluffbunny, once again you are there to represent IHD and pass on our love.  You need a hug yourself. :cuddle;

I talked to him on the phone and he is doing well. Next Tuesday he gets the large cast off and gets a smaller removable one and Wednesday they do a home visit to see how his living arrangements will be. Roommate is moving upstairs so Boxman won't have to do the steps.
