well today was Doctor day and off came the cast. he removed the remaining stables and said it looked really good, (if a leg witout a foot can) no just kidding, the healing is going well. Also the prothesis guy was there and he thought it was coming around also. So now I have to be very careful not to bang or bump the wound and when the scabs are gone (estimated 2 weeks) I will be measured for a leg/foot and according to the Doctor and the Prothesis guy will have it on in a month. Which is way cool specially if you can remember how long I battled with the toe amputations (3-1/2 months) It has only been a little over a month since the leg amp and I feel 100% better whereas fighting the toe amputations I felt like shit all the time. So there you have it I am working on bending my knee because it was straight for a month, its getting there

Good to hear Boxman, I know you must miss your foot, but hearing that you're feeling better overall is a relief.
You did all you could for those toes! I hope you get stronger everyday!

You guys are great, Thanks.. I signed up for public transportation, I can go anywhere in the county for 3.25 one way
they come right to your home with a wheelchair type van. I have it set up so they come on my dialysis days and Sunday I am going to Miller Park to watch the Brewers play Baltimore. This will be my maiden voyage so hope it works well. I have also been working my knee to get the full range back and it is coming along great. Thanks again for all your kind words...Boxman

Well Mark I had a bad feeling about the card I tried to send from the start.  Sure enough here it comes back today
with Return to Sender - not known- unable to forward.  So there you go, the story of my life.  Just can't quite make it.  Anyway you know I tried.  Thanksgiving is going up for your speedy recovery and prayers that all
will continue going well.  Take care of yourself.

Love, Mimi

Have fun at the game. Hope your first big outing since surgery goes nicely.
