Mother denied daughter's kidney

There was this story today on Fox News about a mother who was denied her daughter's kidney because her daughter, while on the donor list, never specified who she wished to receive her kidneys .  Red tape seems to foul up everything .  Now the mother is raising the daughter's child and has the 'usual' 3x week dialysis trip.

If you have family members who have signed to be organ donors, please ask them to make sure their wishes are on record.  Not a happy subject, but not one to be neglected either I guess.

Plain stupidity!
If a family member needs a transplant and is a match, they should be the first to get the organ. Family comes first, then others can have a chance. Stupid bureaucratic bs!
