Guilty.  When it's happened, I just keep moving, act normal, and head home as soon as I can.

Have you ever replaced something you broke without telling the owner of the broken object what happened?

Yup.  *deep calming breath*  Letting it go, letting go, it's only money. . . .

Have you ever replaced a kid's dead pet with a new one that looked just like it without telling them?

Innocent, I always told. I wanted the credit.

One of the best ones ever was a counter prank.  On a Highschool Mission trip, a group of girls (that included my now sister in law) completely wrapped our tent in TP and streamers.  I had to use el bano at 3 in the morning(oh, how I miss those days)  and I discovered it. I undid everything, and hid the evidence.  They woke up early to catch our reactions on camera...

The confusion, and then the efforts to quietly figure out what happened were  hilarious.  I told the other three guys in the tent, so they could enjoy it too.  We all played dumb until the end of the trip.  Funny, funny.

Anyhoo-

Innocent,

but when my husband was younger people often mistook him for the comedy singer Ray Stevens. One day we were shopping and this strange woman came up to me and started gushing..."Oh I just LOVE your husband!" Takes a wee bit of self-control to handle that scenario!  :rofl;

Have you ever danced in the rain?

Innocent with pills - I'm good with those, since I only take them at bedtime.  I have a harder time with the insulin, especially if I get a phone call or company right in the middle of meal prep.  Did I?  Didn't I?  Do I take it when I'm not sure if I did the first time?  So I either get to have my sugar shoot up too high, or crash too low.

Have you ever downloaded music illegally?

When my daughter was little, she fell asleep in the shopping
cart.  I grabbed a pillow to put under her, proceeded thru the
check out line, even agreeing with the checker about the
positives of little children sleeping while shopping.  Went out to
the car and ......  :oops;

Guilty - not olives - but I am sure something similar has happened.

Have you ever borrowed a book, lost contact with the owner, and wonder if you should keep it until you hear from them again?
