Diagnosed with ESRD-November 2006
I have had 2 fistuals-neither one worked
I have had 2 grafts the last one finally "took"
I had 3 different catheters from Nov. 06 - Dec. 08
Got on the transplant list - Halloween Day 2008

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them.    I BELIEVE THIS TO BE SOOOOO TRUE!

Guilty but that was before I had a dishwasher.............so, now they go in there   he he he he he

Have you ever ruined a kid's Christmas and told them there was no such thing as a Santa?   (that was a sad day for me)

Innocent.  NEVER!  I even go out of my way to not read a word on the last page when I am checking to see how many pages are in the book.

guilty and there is a telescope in our bedroom

have you ever put fake gifts in presents under the tree -- like cheap stuff and then when the children are in bed - gone back and put the real presents down--- the look of total surprise on the little snoopers' faces are priceless -

Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017

my Dad would load all the kids in the car and then we would drive around looking at the lights. My Mom would stay home and put the presents under the tree. When we came back Santa had showed up. but my Dad could never talk my Mom to go up on the roof, so innocent

06/85 Diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes
10/04 Radical Nephrectomy (Kidney Cancer or renal cell carcinoma)
02/08 Started Hemodialysis
04/08 Started Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD)
05/08 Started CCPD (my cycler: The little box of alarms)
07/09 AV Fistula and Permacath added, PD catheter removed. PD discontinued and Hemodialysis resumed
08/09 AV Fistula redone higher up on arm, first one did not work
07/11 Mass found on remaining kidney
08/11 Radical Nephrectomy, confirmed that mass was renal cell carcinoma
12/12 Whipple, mass on pancreas confirmed as renal cell carcinoma

• Don't Knock on Death's door; Ring the bell and run away. Death hates that.

• I'm not a complete Idiot -- some parts are missing.
