Once when my granddaughter came to visit, I let her talk me into painting my toenails. I had totally forgotten about it until I went to the health club to work out. Needless to say, I had the whole shower to myself.

Diagnosed with Heart Failure February 2006
Currently on Peritoneal Dialysis, awaiting to be well enough to FINALLY get placed
on the Transplant List. :-) I can't wait!!!!

other way around  innocent or guilty - not sure but I never feel rested anymore----can't remember what it feels like to feel rested and I do not think a sleep number mattress would help have you ever wanted to tell people to "shove it" when they gasp at the sight of your arm ( I try to never show it) |

Cadaveric transplant 1985
New upper-arm fistula April 2008
Uldall-Cook catheter inserted May 2008
Haemo-dialysis, self care unit June 2008
(2 1/2 hours X 5 weekly)
Self-cannulated, 15 gauge blunts, buttonholes.
Living donor transplant (sister-in law Kathy) Feb. 2009
First failed kidney transplant removed Apr. 2009
Second trx doing great so far...all lab values in normal ranges
