Well today is the 6th, next month will be our 1 year anniversary, can you believe it? I have a surprise for all of you coming and I have put alot of work into it, I hope you enjoy it. NO I will not give any hints or clues. But it is something for the site and members to enjoy, and it is something that will make the site bigger than it already is.  :o I will be inviting a few members to beta-test it for me to get all of the bugs worked out. So if I PM you please do not ruin it for the other members, let it be a surprise. I will be PMing a few members over the course of the next couple of weeks.

I really think you all will enjoy the surprise, I know I do. >:D But please if you happen to find out by some reason what the surprise is please do not tell anyone, don't ruin it for the others.

Thank you.  :)

Wow, one whole year!  That means a year ago I was pretty sad because they were wanting me to start dialysis again.  I'm so thankful that I found this site.  It has really helped me get through some tough times.  Thank you Epoman!

I am glad Epoman came to D&T City and invited me here. I am glad because I was getting disappointed at a lot of things I won't get into and then when I checked this out I couldn't believe how many patients post here. I no longer felt alone. I mean .. I made my site for this but I guess my name wasn't catchy enough  and since it's popularity couldn't be compared to this I kinda slacked on the site lol.

But this site is so active and has so much! I tried out the games! Wow I love this place!!

Thx for making IHD Epoman!!

You're welcome Angie, I contribute the success of this website with two things, one is the catchy name, I choose it for shock value to separate the site from all the other dialysis related sites. But the second thing is that I literally put in Several hours a day working on the site, thinking of ways to improve, advertise, etc. This site also provides many things that other dialysis related sites don't offer.

Not just that but the people add to the success as well because I used to put hours into mine .. but with the lack of visitors I kinda lost my want for putting so much work into my site. I mean .. if no one shows interest .. why keep it up right? But all of the people who visit and post here must motivate you to keep up the good work eh? ;)

Well DUH! of course the members make it a success, but I didn't think I had to mention that, I was ONLY talking about my "part" in the success of this site. For the first 4 or 5 months this place was slow, in fact for the first 2 it was VERY slow. When I say, I put a lot of work into this site, I am also including all of "cold calling" I do for this site, in fact when I "cold called" you, you came and took a look and liked what you saw. I have not only done that for you but to many others as well. I have the link to this site in my signature line on sites all across the net. I don't think you really have an idea of the time I put into this site, Because had you put as much time as I do, into your site it would have grown to. I literally put in 50+ hours a week into this site, sometimes many more. But even if this site was not so busy, I would still keep it up because I think of it as my "Blog" and a place where I can come and speak openly and freely. Having all these members thank me and telling me how grateful they are for this site, makes me feel like I am helping my fellow man/woman and it warms my heart. Something big is happening in August (not the surprise) that will make this site even more well known and attract many more members. So I hope your comment did not make my members think I don't contribute the success of this site to them. Because I do, and I owe it all to them AND my aggressiveness in promoting this site AND listening to my members needs.

Oh Epoman, I don't think that at all and I don't think anyone else will think that. That was not my intentions by any means for anyone to think that  you don't contribute because you are the main reason for the success. I know maybe my site would have been more successful if I had a better name .. since my name makes my site sound more like a personal site more than a site others would want to go to on a regular basis. Your site has so much to offer and it is true you did a LOT of "cold calling" as that is how I came to be here.

I just hope you realize how much your site is appreciated! I know at first I was a little hesitant but I have seen a lot of negativity on the net and because I am extremely insecure .. so of course .. I had to be leary. But I must say .. I am impressed by all that you have done.  Thx for your site Epoman! It is a site you don't even have to try to encourage people to see. People WANT to see it and repeatedly return!!

I was trying to get something arranged, but it did not work.  However one thing I would like to suggest is that we try to have as many people online as possible at some point during that day.  I was wondering what people think would be a good time that most of us could be online.  [I am aware of the time zone constraints]  On June 03, this year, we had 33 online at one time, according to the records.  Let us try to break that record on August 06.
What about just before 8.00p.m. Eastern time.  If it is any later than that, it will be August 07 for Kevno.  Have no idea what gymnastics our Ozzie members would have to do to meet up with us.
Please let me know what you think.
