I had a bone scan done last week. I have been of Phoslo (instead of calcium carbonate) and using Calcijex with every dialysis (instead of oral vit D) for about a year now. My scan says: Spine - between 2003 & 2007 added up I lost 12.8% but between 2007 & present I have increased by 16.9%. Femora - between 2003 & 2007 added up I lost 7.9% but between 2007 & present I have increased 13.4%. Not bad eh? Very rare they say they see you gain it back and add some.  :yahoo; So now then where does all my pain come from? Finally they are listening, I have muscle pain not bone pain. That can still be caused by my high Pth but now I can be treated properly. Also I have been off Sensipar since I had the flu a few weeks ago, didn't need stomach upset mixed in with the flu. Since that time my pain in general has been cut in half. The Sensipar was causing me pain. And my Pth has not changed thus far. It was only an experiment anyway.
