Yes, a very HAPPY EASTER to all. It feels like it here in Tennessee.
Flowers and trees in bloom. Later it will be 70 degrees.
Yesterday I heard the 1st lawnmower in my neighborhood.
Your time will come!

Spring is here in North Carolina---trees blooming, tulips and daffodils everywhere and 72 today.  But a cold spell is coming, so high on Easter will only be 55!  Crazy weather. Just a little too early for Easter this year.  There will be coats over all those lovely Easter dresses this year :basket:   :bunny:

We are expecting 5 to 10 inches of snow tonight.  :santahat; the easter Bunny might need Santa's Sleigh.

As we go into this Easter holiday we all must count our blessings and remember those who we have lost, God bless everyone, hope the Easter bunny leaves you lots of colored eggs?

We were going to go to Chicago to see family today and tomorrow, but took a pass because southern Michigan and the Chicago area are being slammed with a terrible snowstorm. So, I am at home watching the snow come down. Blech - I am so sick of winter weather!!!

Happy Easter everyone.  The Easter bunny will need Santa's sleigh here this year!!!  There is at least 4 feet of snow on the ground.  No flowers or trees blooming here no a while yet.  At least we don't have snow forecasted for the weekend.  Temps are supposd to be a little above freezing everyday but drop below freezing in the night. Planning on going snowmobiling tomorrow!!  Here's a pic of my front lawn. There is grass and a flower bed somewhere beneath all the snow!!!

denver isn't scheduled to have snow, that happened last year, but it is supposed to be somewhat cold and of course nothing and i do mean nothing is blooming yet, it's too early.

"The date of Easter Day was defined by the Council of Nicaea in AD325 as the Sunday after the first full moon which falls on or after the Spring Equinox. The Equinox is assumed to always fall on 21st March, so the calculation reduces to determining the date of the full moon and the date of the following Sunday. The algorithm used here was introduced around the year 532 by Dionysius Exiguus. Under the Julian Calendar a simple 19-year cycle is used to track the phases of the Moon. Under the Gregorian Calendar (devised by Clavius and Lilius, and introduced by Pope Gregory XIII in October 1582, and into Britain and its then colonies in September 1752) two correction factors are added to make the cycle more accurate. "

the signs of spring don't arrive here until sometime toward the end of may. YUCK!

The real Easter Bunny! He weighs in at 22 pounds and measures a little over 3 feet.  He is a breed of rabbit called German giant (how appropriate!).  This is his owner, Hans Wagner, struggling to hold him up (from the NY Post article):
