I know Boxman said he might have to spend a couple of weeks in the hospital when he went back this last time.  Has anybody heard from him?

I talked to Boxman this morning. Everything is going well, they kept him over in the hospital because it's easier for his dialysis schedule and he is doing the hyperbolic chamber treatments and he has 98% blood flow to his feet so all his treatments are going good. He is upbeat and missing the IHD Family.

Oh, that's good to hear.  Yes, please tell him (if you talk to him again soon) that we miss him, too.  How much longer will he be there?

Thanks for the update Sluff. Glad to hear the chamber treatments are working, especially since he was dreading them so! Send him our best.

i am a 51 year old male on dialysis for 3 years now. This is my second time. My brother donated a kidney to me about 13 years ago. I found this site on another site. I had to laugh when i saw what it was called. I hope to meet people from all over to talk about dialysis.

Talked to Boxman tonight.

Things have just not been going very well for him lately and he seems a little down in the dumps. He has contracted an infection that I can't recall what it's name is but starts with an E but it has been very painful. They had him on morphine for awhile until he fell out of his wheelchair and then spent a few days in the hospital. Next week he is having a procedure done to remedy this infection and hopefully smooth sailing from there.  Sorry I can't be more specific but I had a hard time hearing him. I told him that many of you have asked about him and we all hope the best. Keep Box in your prayers so he can get back up to feeling good and being positive again soon.

Thanks for letting us know, Sluff.  I keep him in my thoughts all the time. He has certainly had a rough time lately.   A card sounds like a good idea right now.   Love you, Boxman.   :cuddle;
