The staff and students at Holland College in Canada received a request to build a kidney for the Kidney Foundation, with the idea of creating a mascot to raise awareness for the foundation. It took about a week to construct the mascot, and then a little more time was spent fine-tuning it to make sure his wiper motor-powered arm was up to the task of waving for prolonged periods of time.He debuted (with the lobster claw he’s currently sporting) at the Summerside Lobster Carnival parade earlier this month.

For college students I guess cracking open an anatomy book wasn't on the list of things to do. Well the color is what comes out, not what a kidney looks like in color or that's one messed up kidney
