Only at a diabetes conference would there be a Pancreas and Muscle Tissue wandering around for photo opportunities as though they were Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

"Phil kicks off the Campaign. We set a huge syphilis sore loose on the streets of L.A." They send out their mascot character to gay pride parades and stuff.

"We set a huge syphilis sore loose on the streets of L.A"
That would be a bad press quote to put in the paper, or a headline.

That just ain't right.... forgot which comedian used that phrase in their act.

Here are some different ones - apparently "Dottie" is supposed to help remind people to get the dot on their license designating them as an organ donor - the second image is from Wales

Not to be outdone, of course, is this kidney - not sure what the bandaid is all about - a biopsy perhaps?

The guy behind the suit was at my college and asked if I wanted to be in the suit. I said nope, not a chance, better you than me. Which we then talked about if I could be an organ donor, but I get two diferent answers. We have a transplant seminar in May put on by NKF of IL where each area hospital has a booth of  their program, pharm. companies, NKF, Baxter, Medicare, and a few others have displays and then there are different break out sessions to hear different speakers on various topics. Not sure if he will be there this year though.

From Chris's part of the world.. Donate Life Illinois....

Throughout National Donate Life Month, we put good ole Morgan D' Organ into the public spotlight.

"What is THAT ?" seemed to be the most popular reaction to Morgan...go figure.

4. Pepto-Bismol
