I carry Brass knuckles and a quick release blade and sometimes a .380 pistol. These appear to be very effective when needed.
Okarol I have four sisters and I bought them all pepper spray and an extra so we could test how they worked. I also comtemplated buying my oldest sister a taser C2 (consumer version) http://taser.com/products/consumers/Pages/C2.aspx just for kicks because she actually has a glock 17 (she is a peace officer). I think having something is a great idea just make sure she knows how to use it. Didn't we all think we were invincible when we were teenagers
