Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.

Unfortunately I only was able to save a few. I had just cleaned out mine before Susie had surgery.

How embarrassing - now everyone knows I save things!  Important things, though. I am getting much better at throwing out "stuff". I think clearing out my Mother's house made me realize I needed to get rid of things before someone else had to.  I found love letters to Mom from a high school boyfriend-----but they were sent to her long after they were both married ------to other people!!  One of his lines was "lipstick was made to be tasted and smeared"!!!  These were written in the 40's and Mom died 3 years ago. She had them all neatly tied with a ribbon.  Throw away things you don't want your children to read!   But, they were lovely letters and I could see why she kept them.
