I have been home from training on NxStage for about two weeks now, so I'm still somewhat new at this.

Last week, I goofed on my batch timing and wound up having not having enough time left on my batch to run a treatment.  So, I pulled out a set of bags and got ready to setup when I noticed that I didn't have any drain lines to use when I am on bags.  NxStage did send them to me, but the company that delivered the supplies to my house didn't bring them, and I didn't notice until now (didn't check the delivery...the guy said "here's your stuff and left...some local courier service"

I wound up making a new batch and running at 9 at night...I normally start between 7 & 8 in the morning.

What I am wondering, is could I still have used the drain line in the Pureflow even though I am using bags?  Or, does the Pureflow have to be supplying the "juice" in order to use that drain connection?

Just connect to the drain line port on the PureFlow, it is a "passive" port and will work fine for you, We had the same dilemma when we first started, but a call to NxStage support assured us it was ok, Don't hesitate to call them anytime with questions, they are quick , friendly, and know the answers.......

I also might add that you can use the drain port even while making a batch (lessons hard learned)
