I've been tracking the activity levels on the discussion boards - last week IHD had about 1,400 posts (it has been the busiest discussion board since I started tracking). If that same rate is maintained sometime on Wednesday someone will post the 100,000th post. I think this is was a milestone Epoman had his eye on (like the 1,000 member). Way to go Epoman! :thumbup;

IHD is the busiest Dialysis/CKD discussion board.

Either we all just have a lot to say, we are bored and have too much time on our hands or we love each other and need to be here.  I think it is number 3!!  It is hard to get through the day without checking in here to make sure everyone is doing well.  This is my safe place and thank you to everyone for such wonderful posts.  Love you all!! :grouphug;

I'm not exactly sure how IHD numbers posts but I think this was the 100,000
http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=6812.msg100027#msg100027
because my post #100054 was the 100,027th post (have only 27 posts been expunged in IHD's history?)

The post is from Kellyt:

That's horrible!   I'm glad you're better today.

Take a deep breath before you walk in the in-center door tomorrow and know I'm thinking about you!  What time do you go in?

I think it was apt that #100,000 was a routine post - in the sense that a person, angellady07, needed help, some understanding and within three minutes kellyt responded with a kind word, within 2.5 hours eight people had offered support. Few have ever met, people are scattered across the globe but all you have to do is post a note and you're instantly in a community.  I am sure this is what Epoman hoped he would create and he did. Well done.

Goofynina and Epoman - Gone But Not Forgotten

WWW
« Reply #18 on: January 30, 2008, 04:36:23 AM »

I had checked it when there were a few more to go.  I just didn't check for a little while and then when I looked again, there were 100,009 posts!  it all moved so fast!   This would have made Epoman burst with joy!  And to hear that this is the busiest dialysis forum on the Net - Man, I would pay to see his face!!
He has left a wonderful and selfless legacy behind.  Thank goodness, he had the foresight to choose such a team to support him and ultimately to carry on for him.
Our administrators are super!!!!
And our moderators ain't too bad, either!!
