I can't believe how rough this is for you! Who would've guessed...a dialysis patient dehydrated?? (Enjoy all your fluids, Susie!). Listen to the doctors...within reason, since once in awhile they know what they're talking about!

I just spoke with Susie's mom - they think she'll be in the hospital a couple more days. She's getting antibiotics to treat the infection, which looks for now like is not in the surgical area, but in other calcium deposits in the body. Susie had become dehydrated at home so for now she's in the right place. Thankfully her family is with her daily.
thanks for the update karol, i was wondering what had happened, this is the first day back on my computer.

We sent Susie's a bouquet of yellow roses, sunflowers and larkspur from her "family at IHD" - hopefully it will bring a little sunshine into her room!

Goofynina called me to say the flowers are beautiful, they made her day. She says thank you very much.
They are trying to figure out what is causing the infection and she still is just not feeling well. At least she is not dehydrated anymore. She is anxious to get out of the hospital and onto the computer. I think some of the problem is the pain medication upsetting her stomach.
Thank you Karol for arranging to have the flowers sent.

Please say some extra prayers for goofynina. I spoke with Sam and there has been no change , they are keeping her on the morphine, due to the pain. Hopefully either Karol or I will hear better news soon. Maybe a bunch of get well cards and/or letters would help.
GET WELL SUSIE!!
