A kidney transplants a tray of flowers into the ground. What fun! For the curious, the tube coming out of his belly is his ureter, whose function is to carry urine to the bladder (depicted here as a watering can). For the anatomically savvy, I did not include the renal vein or artery as it would make the illustration to busy.

I wore my bright yellow (my fave colour) IHD.com tshirt into the clinc the other day. The staff got mad at me and said they want me to wear one that says "I LOVE DIALYSIS STAFF" lol

I've been thinking about making a tee-shirt for Len about being a receiptant. I made my grandchildren a bunch of tee-shirts for Christmas and they loved them.

My Neph was in last night and I had my "Dialysis Sucks" T-shirt on.  He told me to order him one and he would pay for it.  I got him some buttons too so he can hand them out to patients.

These are all terrific.  Gee now the one I'm wearing (Kidney Beings Renal Support Group plus a whole bunch of kidney beans) seems to pale by comparison!  I gotta get me some of these!

I keep forgetting o use the link you gave that had the shirt with the kidney and pancreas. I should order that and where it so the nymrods no which type of transplant I had when I go to the docs in Chicago. That way they know I had more than one organ :rant;

Eye impairments and blindness in one eye began in 95, major one during visit to the Indy 500 race of that year
   -glaucoma and surgery for that
     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

Next eye surgery late 2012 or 2013 if I feel like it
