I can fly!!!

« on: December 10, 2007, 12:10:13 PM »

We are surprising the kids and going to Miami Dec30th-Jan7th. Otto's parents are coming from South America and won't come to MN :urcrazy; can't figure out why hehe. So I'm wondering if anyone is close and we can do a meet? :beer1; We have not seen his brothers in 5 years so it should be fun and remind me WHY it's been 5 years hehe

The last time we went 5 years ago at the same time it was colder there then MN we had to go get warmer clothes. But that was a record setting winter. This year I'm praying is warmer :bow;

Enjoy the weather and the local food.

We're going again in March and I can hardly wait -- I'm probably going to pack my shorts next week!

I'M back, the weather was OK Otto and Dani both were sick while we were there. Otto got stung by a jellyfish on his forarm and hand OUCH. I was sad we did'nt get to meet Livecam but we did get to talk on the phone so that was cool, his voice was just what I thought very kind. Bryce and Cierra loved being either in the pool or ocean and did not want to come home. It was AWSOME sleeping in my bed last night with no kids!!! Hope everyoneone has a AWSOME 2008

What was strange is that we drove right by your place only we didn't know it at the time.  We missed our early flight on Friday and ended up on another an hour later.  By the time we got out of the Miami airport Friday rush hour traffic was in full swing.  We weren't sure what to do but we kind of wanted to head in the direction of our hotel which was in Weston about 15 miles west of Ft. Lauderdale.  We took one look at the onramp to I-95 and decided it wasn't the time to hit the freeway so we headed over the causeway into Miami Beach where apparently you were staying along Collins Avenue.  That was a driving experience in itself...we didn't finally make it to the hotel until a couple of hours after dark.  Sorry we couldn't meet you but there will be another time!
