Introduce yourself
«
on:
November 23, 2007, 08:55:02 AM »
My name is Marcia Sawyer. I am a female social worker, age 52 (the instructions asked for gender and age), and have worked in dialysis nearly 20 years. I have been an occasional lurker, reading some posts from time to time to try to get a better understanding of what dialysis is like, and am registering now in order to ask specific questions and get information from people's experience. Thank you for allowing me to join your forum.

Welcome to the forum. It is good to see the social workers come on board to get an idea of what we as patients think of dialysis.

Welcome Marcia,
Glad you found us and I hope you will benefit from IHD. IHD is a fountain of information mostly from the prospective of the patient which is the prospective that you should gain the most knowledge from. We have become a tight knit family here because of the straight out honesty in information and experiences.
It is so much easier to communicate with others who have the same experiences.

Welcome to our community. We are happy to have you. We are open to anyone in anyway related to this renal challenge (and even if you are not in the least related). Your joining us, I think, will be of mutual benefit. We are glad you ended your lurking and decided to join us. So keep reading, keep asking, and do some answering. Here is a group hug from all of us.
