I need to check some of these out!

One of my favorites is http://skeptoid.com/ Besides being educational, the researcher has a wicked sense of humor. The description from the home page:

Skeptoid is a weekly science podcast dedicated to furthering knowledge by blasting away the widespread pseudosciences that infect popular culture, and replacing them with way cooler reality.

Each weekly episode focuses on a single phenomenon — an urban legend, a paranormal claim, alternative therapy, or something just plain stupid — that you've heard of, and that you probably believe in. Skeptoid attempts to expose the folly of belief in non-evidence based phenomena, and more importantly, explains the factual scientific reality.

Wish I'd seen this a month ago - I love Pomplamoose!

Got a link for my fellow thrift store shoppers -

Heard this by chance on the radio the other day while searching for a station without a commercial.  I laughed so hard, I had to share!

Not sure if this site has been posted before but I discovered it back in January. You get to send random postcards to random people around the world and then you get random postcards from random people back.  It's brilliant!  My postman has never been busier! But Blokey doesn't get the attraction.

 ;D

Edited to add: I'm thinking I need someone to design/make me some brilliantly fabulous kidney related postcards to send out.  What better way to spread awareness of kidney health and/or organ donation?!
