Suddenly, beautiful classical music starts sounding over the market stores of fruits and vegetables : fragments of Giuseppe Verdi's "La Traviata" are sung by professional opera singers ! Look at the faces and reactions of the buyers and customers, amazed before such magic and divine music, and by the confidence of good taste. Some are even moved to tears...  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3sLHPjkpNE#watch-main-area

The Smart or Stoopid test is purely meant to be a fun quiz to see how your IQ rates alongside the average,
based on the scores of other people who have taken the test. Naturally, only stupid people would take it as
a true indicator of intelligence, and only intelligent people would take it as a true indicator of stupidity.
Or something like that.

I got 20, but had to guess on some... ;D

I just took this test again and did worse --WTF?? Am I getting stoopider??

Be ready with your mouse when you activate the program.  You only have a few seconds to answer each question before the next one pops up.  It's really fun and shows just how smart you really are or think you are!!!!

My score?

Verdict: smart -  average score is 17.7 - your score is 19 - you are 7.2% smarter than average.

I just took the test too and..............................................I am going back to bed :P  :banghead;

Hey, I am not as stoopid now! But I have seen the questions before - so that's pretty tragic!!
Verdict: smart -  average score is 18.2 - your score is 19 - you are 4.4% smarter than average.

This is a link to the BBC homepage of the program In Our Time.  It has radio broadcasts on an array of topics in a number of categories (science, philosophy, culture, religion and so on).  It doesn't dumb things down but instead makes complex subjects quite accessible.

I checked this out and it’s true…

This site will show your information, name, address and picture of your home. Not all of our info was accurate, but it's pretty close.

Check out the website -- www.spokeo.com - it's kind of creepy. It has some of your personal info, even pictures of your house!

You can have your info removed for free by clicking on the "Privacy" link at the bottom of their home page.

I think I found you - try your first 2 initials and your last name - is that you or a relative?

What initials are you using?  It doesn't find me even when I put in my full name and address, let alone any combo of my initials and name.  Helps not to be on any social networking site, I suppose.  No landline phone, either, so I'm not in the phone book either.
