Never seen a guitar like that before in any band footage, show, or concert. Very interesting instrument and good video.

Glad you like it!

Harp guitars have been around for almost as long as guitars have been around, but they're difficult to play well.  Stephen and a few others have been responsible for bringing them back to the stage for the acoustic music community.  If you want to learn more about harp guitars, you can visit this site http://www.harpguitars.net.

He's playing slide on an electric resonator guitar which I like pretty well, but actually his best slide/blues sound is on his National Steel guitar.  I'll ask him if there's any footage of that around.

Okay, here's one more link (for Sluff) with Stephen playing another slide tune, but this time on his National Steel Guitar.  The tune is called CEO (for a friend of ours, part Comanche, who became the CEO of a major US defense contractor).  It's not the entire tune, but you'll get a good sense of how the guitar sounds.

This is really neat...try it!
When you click on the link, a series of pictures (12 on each page will come up.
Read headings over each picture group.
Click on a photo in that category that appeals to you.

Again more pictures will come up,
click the one for you and move on.
Just continue to keep picking.
At the end it will give you a profile of yourself.

It's called a visual DNA.
Your choices dictate your profile.
Be sure and click on each tab of your profile at the end of the test.
