Missed Medication

I just wanted to let everyone know if you take anti-rejection medications, and you miss a dose, your 80% more likely to have a rejection episode. That is *everytime* you miss a dose.

Just thought that was good info to pass along, so everyone knows how important it is not to ever forget taking it.

We were told that by the transplant surgeon.  They had a man who's kidney was doing great, no problems.  However, he was forgetting a dose about once a week or not taking it at the right time.  That "perfect" kidney was lost at 5 years.  It was due to his forgetfullness!
