Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.

1993 diagnosed with glomerulonephritis.
Oct 41, 2007 - Got fistula placed.
Feb 13, 2008 - Activated on "the list".
Nov 5, 2008 - Received living donor transplant from my sister-in-law, Etta.
Nov 5, 2011 - THREE YEARS POST TRANSPLANT!  :D

I went out to eat Brunch with a friend and we went shopping at Kmart. Oh my Gosh the sales were fun!
Tonight Black Angus at 7:45 reservations.  STEAK!

My birthday has been fabulous today!   45! Can you believe it and I thought I would not see 30, 35, 0r 40, and here I am at 45, 5 till 50!  It has been wonderful. It started with gifts from friends and family.  Victor gave me money towards the new ice machine I bought for Christmas/birthday this year.  I received:
a Thomas Kinkade nightlight chapel picture
a sweater hoodie with Eeyore on it
a crystal lighthouse
guitar and piano CDS
Ocean CDS
Quiet Moments CDs
50 bucks to Black Angus- spent that tonight on a fabulous dinner for two with all the fixings.

Almost better than Christmas!!!!    A friend of mine treated me to brunch and a shopping expedition in Kmart.  God did I buy stuff for me.  I have a record player to play the old LPs on now.  Now I need a table to put it on in my den by my chair.  Yes, I have LPs.  ( Told you I was older!) 

Thank you all for a blessed year in 2007. Without you all and your support I would have lost my MIND!  I really do consider you all part of my extended world wide family.

Thank you all for the Happy Birthday wishes. It was my 60th and guess what? I fell over on the high street and sprained my ankle so I've been hobbling about ever since. I sort of half stepped on the kerb and the road and my ankle  twisted so over I went arse over tit, everything flew out of my pockets, phone car keys money, I felt a right plonker. A couple of passers by helped me to my feet but I'm thinking jeez it's starting, 60 and falling over all the time and no I wasn't drunk!  :rofl;
