Hi,
I'm Joan, my husband Charlie has PKD (and other medical issues). At age 63 has been on dialysis in-center since 2002. We finished Nxstage training and started at home this week. Overwhelmed but still best thing that's happened since he started dialysis. Hopefully we'll get a little more confident (less stressed ?) with time.

Things will get less stressed pretty quickly, too. That is how life goes sometimes.  Welcome to the site!

i am a 51 year old male on dialysis for 3 years now. This is my second time. My brother donated a kidney to me about 13 years ago. I found this site on another site. I had to laugh when i saw what it was called. I hope to meet people from all over to talk about dialysis.

Welcome to our community.  I do believe that knowledge is power.  And there is much of that to be gained from this site.  I wish you and your husband well as you become more and more confident with your NxStage.  Please let us know how he is doing.
