Well here I am September 20th, still within the summer solstis, and all we had all day long was snow. Yup, it's here. Can't believe it. It's just too early. Freezing my buns off. Big Christmas like flakes all day, so much for my flowers.  :snowman; :snowman; :snowman; :snowman; :snowman;

The snow sounds really nice to me too.  I would probably crash a quad having some fun in it though.  ;D  :snowman;

After living in the north the majority of my life, it is fun every time in snows in Raleigh.  Schools cancel on the forecast of snow, and if it does actually snow, everything closes.  And, unlike back home, the snow melts quickly and life is back to normal.  There are times I miss being snowed in--we worry more about hurricanes and being powerless for days after one hits.  It is raining today----ahhhhhhh, finally!

UGH, I hate the snow and the cold.  I never look forward to it and always seem to forget how cold it can really get here.  I live in a valley (snow belt) and we always seem to get pounded with snow whereas the rest of the state doesn't always get as much.  Yuck!

I love snow...in the winter!!!  ;) Unfortunately, where I am in Michigan we just don't seem to get much, at least nothing like when I was a kid. Seems like we had lots of snow all winter back then. I was in Minnesota last year for Christmas, but I guess it was almost 70 degrees here for Christmas. Not having a white Christmas sucks!!!  :P

We've had beautiful 80 degree sunny days and 50 degree nights all week. Perfect weather!

Thats the best time to Quad George. No dust, or muck. Have to have lots of clothes on, look a bit like an Eskimo when I get all suited up. It is beautiful to ride the mountains after or even during a snow fall. Easier to see the bear and cougar track's too in the snow. Thanksgiving next month will be the last camping trip but the main quad start up weekend.  Even little Lauralie who's 15 months old has a little 50cc Quad, it's a blast to ride! OK, so the snow is good for one thing.  :)

Sounds beautiful.  The picture in my mind probably doesn't do it justice.  I will have visions of snow men dancing and friends quading on mountain tops tonight.

Geez snow Brenda?? I can't think of that. I go to the Jersey shore this weekend for my birthday. It will be in the 80"s. I will think of you my friend when i sit in a beach chair on the sand and watch the waves come in. I will toast you and your snow with a cold beer!

Brenda it is great to ride the quad in snow!!  See all the animal tracks in the clean white snow. Nothing is prettier than snow on the evergreen trees. We are kind of planning to buy a skidoo this year too if we can get a good deal on a used one!!  I just don't like having tpo clean out the driveway and having to dress up in winter clothes just to go outside!!

brenda, as pretty as first snow might be, you just keep it right there. NO snow in colorado until at least halloween, it's a rule. my son-in-law pushes snow, so he's looking forward to all the overtime. i think he's just a bit crazy. i really don't mind the snow as long as it stays in the mountains where it belongs. my sister once told me "susan, you live in the mountains" yes technically denver is in the mountains, but there are bigger ones up there and they should be required to take all the snow. but then what does she know, she used to live in steamboad springs and they only have 3 seasons there, snow, mud and skunk!

Oh, come on guys! Who can dislike snow?! it's beautiful. Check out A. Adams pics to see the beauty of it.

Shoveling, ice on windows, black ice, crappy looking car...I love it all.

I mean, I love living in SoCal but would prefer the change of the seasons, leaves turning, my nose running, having hat head, ugly shoes...it's all good baby!

You like it because you live in So. Cal!!!!  ;D  Live in a state that has a snowy winter, ice storms, freezing cold mornings where you can't feel your feet, nose or butt and then say how much you like it!!!   :rofl;
