Wife to Rob who is currently doing Nx Stage Home Hemo Dialysis.
11/17/09 After 4 years on dialysis, Rob received a kidney from our George. Kidney is working great! YEAH!!!!

Hi - thanks skyedogrocks - Thankfully we do have her contact info - I just called OB and she told me she has been staying at her friends house since the surgery. (OB I hope I got all this info correct!) One toe graft seems to be ok but the other looked better last week and seems swollen this week. They aren't sure how her heel has taken to the graft, and may have to explore more options. She has been staying off her feet and that is why she hasn't posted. Her pain level is a little less and she's been able to cut back on pain meds, which she is happy about. I asked if she would like some snail mail and she said that would be great - so if you want to send her a card or note please PM me for her home address. She will have her friend pick up her mail. She asked about some of our members, about Vegas and about the fires here in California. I hope she improves - she's been through so much already! |
