Probably a lot of sad faces today since Steelers lost.

Not really, Its good they lost. It would have been an injustice to compare anything to those 70's Steelers  :thumbup;

I do not do football, so help me make a choice of team so I can participate here.  Maybe I should flip a coin and choose a team?

Go Argentina!  :bandance;

I like the dark side, after all I am the dark chocolate Princess/Queen.  Oh I don't know....the Raiders were the L.A. Invaders for awhile....then they went back where they belong.  Oakland can have them.   :oops;

Kitkatz, the Green Bay Packers have the best reputation for fan base outside of Wisconsin. You are welcome to join. How could you not route for #4..Boxman

Well...I'd like to throw something good in here...but I'm a Dolphins fan...so I'm going to sit quietly until John Beck grows up enough to play with the big boys. We have prettyful uniforms and Dan Marino does a fine Hyundia commercial. Ohhhhh, and need I tell how great he and Shula were on that diet commercial!! Sigh. We suck.  :banghead;

goofynina don't worry we understand your infatuation with the silver and black but you are just setting yourself up for disappointment. Come off the fence, you know the Packers will do it.

I find it kind of strange that all the TV experts are just starting to realize how strong the Steelers are this seasion:

#1 Rush Defense
#4 Pass Defense
#2 Rushing Team Offense in the League
#1 Rusher in the NFL (Willie Parker)

They've only give up 47 (best in the NFL) points all season AND haven't given up a touchdown in the FIRST HALF all year.

Since we concentrate on the run, Roethlisberger was 18 of 22 for 209 yards and one touchdown.  Overall, his QB rating is 99.3.  His last 13 attempts were all completions, the record being Bubby Brister with 15 in the late 90's.  He also has 9 touchdowns for the year and only 3 interceptions, two against the Cardinals.

We have a bye this week to get 4 of our starters back.  That's right, we shut out the Seahawaks with 4 backups starting.

One of the biggest games of the season is on December 9th when we take on the hated Patriots.

I've bragged enough about my Steelers.  Thanks for listening.
