Len's Update

Hi Everyone
Len took a turn backwards the night before yesterday. He is having some trouble breathing and was extremely bloated. He doesn't have any bowel sounds and isn't passing gas, he is having severe pain at the top of his insension. They have had the infectious disease folks in plus x-ray, ekg, extra lab work, etc. They are giving him more medications and more IV fluids since he isn't taking enough by mouth. The put him back on oxygen and I guess will have to see how it goes. I'm waiting this morning for Dr. Light to make his rounds to hear anymore news. I didn't get much sleep last night and still very emotional. I know it will get better. Thanks for all the prayers and please keep praying The more I talk or think about it, the more I cry. He is getting up and walking. I just feel so helpless being 2 hours away and I've tried calling the nurses station and they put me on hold and then disconnect me. I'd like to slap them. I am going this morning when traffic lets up some, so maybe I'll hear some good news. Everone take care.

I'm so sorry to hear that things are not going how you hoped. Hopefully it will get better soon and it's just a minor bump in the road. I will keep praying for Len.
