What a sh@@@y day, Otto took the kids out dirtbiking and crashed his bike. He was knocked out cold went to hospital and he broke his big toe and two other bones in his right foot 2 stitches in his left leg and has a concussion!!!! OMG WTF needless to say I'm a little pissed since he was told to give up the dirtbikes a few years ago after many crashes!!! He has to go see an Ortho guy this week for a real cast he has a partial one that gos up to his knee and will be on crutches for 6-12 weeks!!!!! Did I already say I was pissed since this will put off Vegas for us!!! If you think I'm cold oh well he has had 1 to many crashes that affects us all. Poor Bryce was so upset he saw the whole thing and thought Otto had died.

I am sorry about Otto's accident. I hope he's okay. It's hard to give up fun things because of an illness, but I understand your concern Lola. Don't give up on Vegas yet, with this crew we could have a wheelchair rally down the strip if needed!

If you think I'm cold oh well he has had 1 to many crashes that affects us all. I spent a fair bit of my childhood watching dad come home injured from motorbike accidents - I can relate! He hasn't been able to ride, since the last one. His two most serious crashes were on large road bikes - an 1100cc and a 750cc. But last time he smashed his leg real bad. He has all kinds of pins and plates in there now, he's had a bone graft, the works. That was a number of years ago but he still gets a lot of pain and limps a lot.

In my dreams he's getting a new they said "normal people" 6 weeks with a cast but in Otto's case since he really should have had surgery more like 12. Just watch out for next year!!!!

I am so fearful of motorcycles. Nothing but trouble. So many people get hurt on them. Sorry about Otto. I sincerely hope this accident inspires him to give up bikes for good. My pregnant girlfriend's husband was killed on one, my favorite cousin was badly injured-broken pelvis and arm.

Otto will never learn he took his air cast off last night so he could take out his street bike!!!!! But the funny thing is 10 mins after he left it started pouring, I was so upset with him so needless to say he went to bed Alone. He'll never learn he says it's in his blood he can't help it so I said he needs a blood transfusion on top of a transplant. His 1st kidney came from a guy killed on a bike and since then he's crashed so many times I've lost count. Charee glad your son is doing better
