I know it is old news now but did any of you se or hear
the MI-App. State football game Sat.?
It is the talk of the town here.  So shocking.
I put Michigan upset in the search engine and it was fun to
read the stories from newspapers and sports stations from
all over the country.  I hope the QB there gets enough attention
from that game to get drafted into the NFL.  The town of Boone
is only about 13,000 people and is dry.  10,000 of those were there
to meet the bus of players coming in.  Said players were dancing on
top of bus.  Would have been a fun celebration for sure.

I live within 10 miles of Michigan State University (my daughter is also a student there) and U of M is our arch rival. MSU fans were just as excited about U of M's loss as they were for MSU's win - if not more so!

Everyone here in North Carolina was celebrating.  It was an incredible game.  My DIN graduated from ASU. It is a lovely school set in the mountains right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I love it when the underdog wins (as long as we're not the underdog).
An exciting game.
One article said that in LV they were not even allowed to bet on
that game because it was so mismatched.  Can you imagine, what a long shot
that would've have been.
That team played excellent.  They could've have beaten almost anyone that day.
I haven't heard how the rankings have changed yet.

Well, thanks, Goofynina!  Anytime.  lol
Buckeyes play USC next year.  Should be a good game.
I think it's from the area where I live, because football is so big here.
Buckeyes are so good (most of the time) and many of their players get
drafted and it is fun to follow them.
I have a Buckeye ring, earrings, necklace and bracelet and it is a ball to wear them,
especially during the season.  Love to flash my buckeye ring in front of
someone with a Michigan shirt on.  lol

You are a true Buckeye if you were the jewelry :2thumbsup;   Do you have the necklace made from buckeyes?  We get Buckeye accessories for Christmas gifts--camp chairs, sweatshirts, cookbooks.  I did go to OSU, so I still have loyalty.  Of course, Christmas wouldn't be complete if we didn't make buckeyes ---my recipe makes 7 pounds of buckeyes!!!!!!!! (but we always seem to find a way to eat all of them)  Hope you have a good time with your team this season.

Thanks Paris.
I have the necklace that has little buckeyes every couple inches apart.  cute.
I have made the Buckeye candy, usually every Christmas, but not this last one.
The kids were always like, if you don't make anything else, make Buckeyes.
Last year I got small bags of scarlet & gray M&Ms for stockings.
My youngest son works at Buckeye corner p-t.  fun job for a young kid.

Goofynina, a Buckeye is a peanut butter candy (much like a Reese's cup) and
it is rolled into a ball and dipped into chocolate, but you leave a small top uncovered
and it looks like a Buckeye nut. (if you've ever seen one of those).  delicious.
Tastes like a Reese's cup.  yummmmmmmmmmm.
The jewelry usually has small beads that look like little Buckeyes.
It is made from confectioners sugar, peanut butter, butter. and of course chocolate
on outside.  Can put in recipe if you are interested.  Wonderful at Christmas time
and make wonderful gifts.  They are so popular here.

Not everyone in North Carolina was happy when ASU beat Michigan. If you slide my pic around you will note I am wearing a Michigan tee shirt. Class of "60". Lately, at least for five of the last six years, the chestnuts (buckeyes) have beaten my guys and that's been tough to take, this only makes it worse. However, there is only one game a season that really counts and that's when we play the red and gray. This year, ASU or not, the Wolverines will feast on chestnuts./bobt

I saw an Ohio Buckeye glass in the thrift store today. Almost bought it and sent it out. There was only one. So I said nah.

What is going on with Michigan?
What is happening?
Will Carr survive this?  At OSU he would not.
