Are any of our members in the areas of heavy flooding right now across the
United States?  I hope not.

I live in Illinois and there is flooding but we are not directly affected by it.  It's been raining like crazy and we have a leak in our roof and a little water in the basement.   :(

Got hit by some really nasty storms last night that shut down the power at the clinic.  The tornado sirens were blaring and the rain was blowing sideways.  3rd shift didn't even get to go on, and some of 2nd had to be hand cranked to return their blood.  We only just got power back this morning and the patients that showed up are only gonna get about 2 hr treatments.  Lots of flooded areas and the creeks in my neighborhood are at bursting capacity.  Wouldn't you know it we are getting more storms throughout today.

We had fast moving storms go through today woth tornado warnings.
One touch down.  It was so dry during June-July but we don't need
more rain now.  Many in northern Ohio are flooded out of their homes.

As of today most of the areas that were really flooded are returning to somewhat normal.  The expressways that closed have almost all lanes reopened.  One of the hospitals got flooded pretty good and it will be about 2 weeks they say before they "might" reopen but other than that all seems well.  Thanks for all the well wishes.  :grouphug;
