Yeah, I saw that post when I got back from vacation, tried to PM him but his inbox if full.
I hope he comes back.

George lives within a couple of miles from me, but he didn't want to meet up.  He will be missing out by not staying with us.  There will always be people who come and go--family sticks together through good and bad.

Honestly guys, and maybe I'll get bumped for this, but I too left for awhlie as things were so heated up at one time that it was just not fun or enlightening reading the posts. We come here for a respite from the other things going on in our lives. We come here for compassion, friendship, information, and just someone to listen to our stories. If there is infighting or fear of saying something wrong, then it is no longer the oasis it once was.

Yes, we are a big family. A big family with differences of opinion. I too read what was posted. A few people came down pretty hard on him I can only imagine what the e-mails said. Maybe, the next time someone "steps out of line" there can be a discussion about it. Sometimes when we type things, it doesn't come across the way we were thinking. I've been known to do that way too many times! So instead of putting him on the chopping block, maybe just a little bit more discourse would be appropriate?

This site won't be a perfect fit for everyone.  There are times people post and it seems like they are waiting for someone to disagree with them.  I come for support, information, comfort, compassion and friendship.  Epoman ran a tight ship and set the standards and the admin seems to be running the sight exactly as he would.   Thanks to all for keeping this a great place to come to.

I appreciate your comments paris. I just want to say that things aren't always as simple or as obvious as they may seem on the surface. There are often issues and PM's that the admins have to deal with that are just not appropriate for public discussion or debate. I have a great deal of faith in our admins and I know Epoman did too.  :twocents;

How quickly we are judged.  Thats cool, as I once posted ..... to err is human, to forgive is divine.

It's nice to know people care and miss not having certain others in their life.  Thank you for your kindness, understanding, and compassion.

Paris, I did not say I didn't want to meet.  I said I was "busy" and you did too and nothing else came of it.  In fact I would still like to meet you, we have some common interest as well as common hospitals.  If I was apprehensive before, you must understand I have had a lot happen in my life (not just kidney failure) and my social skills were damaged quite a bit.  Well, maybe you would have know that had you payed attention to what I had expressed, rather than assuming.  That sure is a nice way to get off to a new start, isn't it?  Lunch is on me if you would reconsider.

In all sincerity, I could care less about any negative judgments.  I am sure that if I only knew one side of me (what I post on IHD) I would have something negative to say too.

I don't judge--I am an old sick lady with too much junk going on in my life-----I am protective of IHD because it is so important to me. I wish life gave us one thing at a time to deal with, but right now the list of major things happening to my family is extremely long.  I have become anti-social during this time which is not like me. Why? Don't know-depression, overload,stress - all of the above.   We all only share a part of who we are on this site--I am sorry for any negative responses I have given. I am not a negative person, it takes too much energy.  So, maybe in the future we can see when Foxy N.C. is coming to the area post transplant and we can have a mini-meet in Raleigh.  How about Twisted Fork at Triangle Town center?             Back to Foxy and her transplant---- so excited for her.  It has definately been a good year for our members.         :2thumbsup;   Again, sorry if I misinterpretted anything. :oops;
