Here is what my incision looks like and me at the hospital with my family. This was from the transplant, not the surgery I had after the transplant. i have more staples now.... Enjoy. Jaybird

Sorry to hear of your complication. Glad they were able to fix it. I know what you mean about the JP drain feeling HUGE. It sure is a relief to have it out. Hope the rest of your recovery is smooth sailing from here on out and that your kidney lasts for a very long time. The pictures of your family are beautiful.

Lil update.. I"M FEELING MUCH BETTER! The last few days sucked because i couldn't urinate well after the surgery. Now I'm having an easier time! Also, its GReAT to be able to eat banana's and watermelon again... wooo I love foods with potassium in them! My mom is feelin good too. All things going good since the second surgery! Everyone keep up the fight! -Jaybird

I'm feeling well enough to go to the movies with my brother today. Gonna see Superbad, i hope i dont bust a staple laughing. Thats my biggest worry! laughing and coughing are my enemies now!.. and the itching!

After seeing Knocked Up, I don't think you have to worry about Superbad. I saw it the other day and it didn't make me laugh to hard. Knocked Up on the other hand, is hilarious!!
