I am 7 weeks post transplant and feeling groovy. My creatinine is at 1.1, and all of my counts have been great. I would love to go back to work, but my surgeon thinks that three months is what I need off of work, so I will listen to him. I go to clinic every two weeks, and I do labs once a week. I wear a mask when I go out anywhere. He suggests I wear that for three months as well. I have been following their orders to the letter. I haven't felt this good in years.
I love my new kidney.
