i am a 51 year old male on dialysis for 3 years now. This is my second time. My brother donated a kidney to me about 13 years ago. I found this site on another site. I had to laugh when i saw what it was called. I hope to meet people from all over to talk about dialysis.

At our state fair, they will deep fry anything!  Twinkies seem to be a favorite with people. Never tried one.

But, in the south, we deep fry everything!! Get a seafood platter and the only thing not deep-fried is the cole slaw!

The picture does look pretty disgusting, but I admit that a couple of years ago a friend and I split one at a carnival and it was actually pretty good. Even though I'm not big into donuts, that's basically what it was like. They put a stick in the end of a twinkie, dip it in some donut-type batter, and dip it in a deep fryer then sprinkle some powdered sugar on it. It ends up like a cream filled donut. Deep fried anything is usually not my thing, but we were feeling adventurous!

If I had a deep dyer I would deep fry everything, even toast!  I put one back on the shelf at Costco because I would have deep fried everything and then some.

i LOVE fried pickles. there is one restaurant here in denver that does them, but i admit that when my friend told me about them i thought he was very weird.  the twinkies are probably pretty good, probably kind of like funnel cakes but with filling. however food fried at higher elevations is different from food fried a sea level.  they do donuts on top of pikes peak. very very yummy and like nothing you have ever had.

I've never hard of deep fried twinkies but I have had deep fried pickle at the Pig Iron BBQ.
Another place that has them is Ole Bad O Nails.
I really liked it but one is enough because of the salt and grease.
