Vacation

The roads are a bit narrow in those parts of Ohio, but we had a blast. Wooster knew we were around. LOL

We're looking into a cruise around Hawaii. 

It all depends on if we can get the time off which can be difficult at this time of year.  If we can it looks like everything else is about to fall into place.  Otherwise we are just taking days here and there to extend weekends to 3 or 4 days. 

Today I took the kids to work which was vacation-like for me and for them.  We had lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory on it's final day of operation before closing forever...it was nice.

Some advice for Kitkatz on San Diego....the downtown waterfront, Shelter Island, Balboa Park, Coronado Island, Old Town, the gaslight district, and beautiful Hillcrest (home of UCSD Medical Center) are all very nice places to visit.

I can't remember the hotel name but there is one on the waterfront that is like it's own village, it is beautiful. I really like San Diego.

I am thinking of doing the Phil Perry Valentines Fan Cruise in February to Ensenada.

I am leaving June 26 for New Mexico - it's been REALLY hot but I am hoping there will be thunderstorms to cool things off!

Not quite a vacation, but my company is sending me to Dallas in July and I'm excited about it.  Any recommendations on what to see or where to eat?  I really have a yen for authentic Mexican food and a nice Marquerita!  And I want to see Dealey Plaza too for pure curiosity.

my mom, stepdad, lil sister and her boyfriend are coming down the sunday before the 4th and we are going camping at Kanopolis Lake.  Well i don't do the outdoors thing anymore so i will visit them during the day then drive home to sleep in my comfy bed with air conditioning and fan.     so i guess it is their vacation and not mine.  o-well.......but vegas will be MINE! ! ! 
Well i guess this part is not a vacation but on the 7th of july im doing a 5k walk for "habitat for humanity".  i did it last yr and it was very rewarding.  this yr i have walking shoes so it should be much easier on my feet.

We're looking forward to meeting you in Vegas! Rolando and I are with you on that comfy bed and ac thing (makes me question our sanity in traveling to New Orleans in July - oh well, have wheels, will travel!) Good for you in doing the Habitat for Humanity walk. If you see Jimmy there, say hello for us. Or, if we see him in Plains we'll say hello for you (if you'd like). At the very least we'll drink some Billy Beer and eat some extra boiled peanuts on your behalf.

Well I'm off to Quinter, Kansas for a family reunion.  I'm not looking forward to it, I don't like these things but I wanna see my dad.  I really need to talk to him.  Hopefully something good comes outa this.
At least I have my ipod...wish I could take my car!

Thank you!  The reunion was ok, it was today (Sunday) but we went down early on Saturday.  We went out to my cousins farm Saturday and my dad and his girlfriend were there.  My dad and I went four wheeling out in the pastures and the canyon area, that was a great time.  We found a little pond and I got to practice shooting one of my dads' rifles.  I used 2 clips, 50 rounds, it was my first time shooting a gun.  I don't know why I've been so scared of guns, I had a blast. ( so did the bowling pin.  )  Out of 50 rounds I think I hit the pin 3 times.
